I still have heart problems and am very scared to get dental work done, I was rushed to E.R. for having crown work done, never again. Are You This Patient?
When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

Most local dentists are capable of caring for patients who are dental phobic, but your particular situation sounds severe and I don''''t think you should take any chances. UNR has a local general practice dentist residency program that offers hospital- based dentistry. You may be able to have all your dental work done while completely sedated in a hospital environment.I urge you to call the residency program immediately to get information on becoming a patient. Your smile and your general health depend on it.University of Nevada School of MedicineGeneral Dental Residency 1001 Shadow LaneLas Vegas, NV702-671-5175Because the residency program is educational, not everyone is qualified to receive treatment by the resident dentists. If you are not accepted to receive treatment through the residency program, you may email me for further advice or call my private office @ 372-4039.Very truly yours,Dr. Mark Edington
