pulled two molars after being loose for months. waited because thought it would heal underneath. think may have waited too long. have only done it once, yet, do believe there is exposed bone because pulled my left cheek way out. there is absolutely no infection... so far. if continue to care for my mouth properly, will the gum tissue grow over the bone? do not have the money to see a dentist.

When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

If you got the roots out it will heal with complication. If you left a root infection is possible or even likely. Chances are, if they were loose for a long time, you got the entire tooth. If that is the case, you have severe periodontal disease and need to see a dentist.

wow. you are not taking care of your mouth properly, so i don''''t see that there is any way that you could "continue taking care of you mouth properly" ; however, to answer your question- you could have broken off the crowns of the teeth and left root fragments embedded in your jawbone- if so the gum may never cover over the "bone" in these areas. Salt water rinses can help keep the area clean and heal as much as possible. Normal healing time varies depending on the size of the wound, but generally the gum completely grows over the hole in 2-4 weeksYou most likely have severe gum disease and that is why your molars got loose in the first place. Your real concern should be the rest of your teeth and the effect that untreated gum disease will have on your overall health and well being. You should consider visiting UNLV''''s student dental clinic. They help out alot of people who have more time than money. Patients interested in being considered for treatment in the student clinics should call 702-774-2400 for information on how to get an appointment.
