Though not an oral surgeon, Dr. Spelman is as good a general dentist as Las Vegas offers. His staff is extremely accomodating, he uses the most modern techniques, and is located in a top notch, free standing facility in SW Las Vegas. He has practiced in Las Vegas for his entire career.

About Hygienist: The hygienists are very friendly and competent. More intense procedures, such as root planing, are, however, very expensive.

Treatment Length with Dr. Spelman: 25 years.

Dr. Spelman is an excellent dentist. I feel he gives me the care he would give his family. You can see that he takes pride in his work. It is apparent that his staff likes working with him. I speculate that he enjoys his life, which is reflected in all that he does.

As for the expense, you get what you pay for. His prices are fair.

I only lived in Las Vegas a year. My wife went to Dr. Spelman just because he was on our insurance and he was close. She was very pleased, so I went also. Wonderful experience. Knowledgable, takes time with you, good cleaning, and the Dr. himself walks you through things. The offices are immaculate as well. I was very impressed. The price was also virtually nothing (just my copayment - but I had good insurance - they charged me for nothing beyond the co-payment - including the x-rays). Great choice for a dentist.

Good Dentist. He has good manners and very knowledgable. Prices are more on the high side. My insurance only covers a portion as his services exceed the limit. When he was small he was a prefered provider. Now he is above what they will pay. Check with your insurance first or call for his prices.
